Andy Clausen has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Convenience Distribution Association (CDA). Prior to that, they worked at SpartanNash starting from 2014. At SpartanNash, they held the positions of Vice President National Account, where they led existing multi-billion-dollar business and pursued new business opportunities, and Director - National Accounts, where they led the development of business cases, contractual negotiations, and explored new partnerships. From 2009 to 2014, Andy worked at Acosta Sales & Marketing in various roles, including Vice President Operations, Director of Retail, Retail Business Manager, and Leadership Development Associate. In these roles, they led teams, managed client relationships, and implemented key projects.
Andy Clausen earned a Masters degree in International Development Administration from Western Michigan University, from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. degree in International Relations with additional studies in Spanish and Marine Biology from Grand Valley State University, attended from 2003 to 2006. In 2005, they also studied Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad LCI Veritas.
