Kim Smit

Kim Smit currently serves as Manager of HR Strategic Projects and Compliance at SpartanNash, leading enterprise-wide HR and cross-functional projects while ensuring compliance with government reporting as a Federal Contractor. Previously, Kim held the position of Senior Project Manager at MillerKnoll and served in various roles, including Senior Project Manager for Global Compliance and Employee Relations and HR Project Manager at Herman Miller. Kim holds a Master's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations and Human Resources from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Grand Valley State University.
