Marco Cortez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, operations, and business analysis across various industries. Currently serving as Strategy Director at SpartanNash since September 2023, Marco previously held the position of Director of Business Analysis at Capital One, where leadership was provided for business strategy in the credit card supply chain organization. At EY-Parthenon, Marco advised on value creation during M&A transactions and operational restructuring. As Director of Operations at Konfio, innovative processes were implemented to enhance the credit process for small businesses in Mexico. Marco's early career includes significant roles at EY, Santander Bank, Genscape, Inc., and JP Morgan, focusing on transaction advisory services, retail strategy, and market analysis. Marco holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
