Tom Bierbaum has a diverse work experience history. Tom started their career as an Account Supervisor at Media One in 1990. In 1996, they joined Schwan's Consumer Brands as the Director of Marketing for the Snack and Single Serve Pizza Category. Tom also held positions such as Marketing Director for Freschetta/Red Baron and Director of Marketing for Ethnic Snacks, where they were responsible for strategic planning, new product development, and brand repositioning. From 2010 to 2012, Tom worked as the Confectionery Category Marketing Manager at Cargill. In 2012, they became the Senior Marketing Manager for Rasmussen College's School of Business, School of Education, and School of Justice Studies. Since 2013, Tom has been the Director of Private Brand Strategy and Innovation at SpartanNash.

Tom Bierbaum received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Advertising from the University of South Dakota in 1982. Tom also completed a Mini Masters in Project Management from Auburn University and a Mini MBA from St. Thomas University in 2010. Additionally, they pursued Executive Education in Strategic Branding at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management in 2006.
