Philippe Lavalle

Philippe Lavalle is a Co-founder and CSO at SPARTHA MEDICAL, where Philippe focuses on Smart Biomaterials and innovative implants. Prior to that, Philippe was a Research Director at Inserm UMR-S 1121 Biomaterials and Bioengineering. Philippe has a background in researching new strategies to design coatings of biomaterials, protein/material interactions using AFM study, interaction of Antifreeze Glycoprotein with ice surface, and adsorption of particules-proteins on solid/liquid interfaces through numerical simulations and experiments.
