Michael Montemayor

Michael Montemayor has joined Sparton as the Undersea Warfare Solutions (UWS) Vice President of Engineering reporting to the Sparton CEO.

Michael brings 18+ years of experience in engineering design, leading the development of digital, embedded, and power systems in the military, space, and aerospace industries. He has led projects and development teams in multi-site operations.

Michael has developed advanced electronics and has lead/won many multimillion dollar development orders, including fighter (F35, F15, F22, B2, B1B, etc.) and commercial aircraft (MD-80, 737, A320, A350, etc.), Expandable Space Habitat, and recently a +$36M contract with a prime satellite company.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University and his Master of Science from Santa Clara University.
