Illan Bouhaniche

Illan Bouhaniche has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Illan most recently worked at SparX as a Lead computer vision algorithm engineer starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they spent three years at Alibaba Group as a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer from March 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining Alibaba Group, Illan worked at Infinity Augmented Reality, Inc. where they held the positions of System Engineer from March 2018 to March 2019 and Lab Manager from October 2017 to March 2018. Illan also gained experience at Hip-Hope Technologies Ltd. as an Integration Engineer from April 2016 to October 2017 and a Mechanical Engineer (R&D) from April 2015 to April 2016. In these roles, they were involved in various R&D projects, mechanical design using Solidworks, and opto-mechanical testing.

Additionally, Illan has previous experience as a Consultant Trainee at KYU from January 2013 to July 2013 and as a Production Intern at Eurocopter in 2012 and 2011, where they focused on helicopter structure and elementary parts of the blades, respectively.

Illan Bouhaniche has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they attended from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.
