Martin Watts

Martin Watts has worked in the data science and analytics field since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Modelling Summer Intern at MBDA Defence Systems, where they investigated the effect of a wing/fin misalignment on a number of active systems. In 2014, they moved to Acturis Limited as a Technical Business Analyst, where they specified and tested new development of the system, resolved user raised issues, and built, tested and deployed data migrations. In 2015, they joined blur Group PLC as a Data Scientist and Junior Data Analyst, where they worked with the company's proprietary s-commerce platform. Finally, in 2016, they moved to Sparx as a Data Science Lead, Insights Team Lead, and Data Scientist.

Martin Watts obtained their High School degree from Truro and Penwith College in 2009. Martin then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Durham University from 2009 to 2013. In 2016, they obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates.
