Leo Benitez

Leo Benitez has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Leo is currently the Managing Partner at Phygital X and the Vice President - International Business Development at Spatial Business Systems (SBS). In their previous positions, they served as the EVP - Executive Director of Minsait's Phygital Division and the VP - Global Head of Energy & Utilities. Before that, they worked at Indra as the Director - Utilities, where they managed a budget and maintained relationships with major accounts. Leo also held roles at Soluziona, where they were a Senior Manager - Utilities and a Utilities Consultant & Project Manager, specializing in large transformation projects in the Energy Sector.

Leo Benitez attended Universidad ORT Uruguay from 1989 to 1994, where they studied Computer Science. In 2002, they earned a Master's degree in Energy Sector from the Club Español de la Energia. Additionally, they studied Electric Engineering at Universidad de la República from 1988 to 1993.
