Werner van der Merwe

Werner van der Merwe is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at Spatialedge, where they focus on building innovative AI solutions. Previously, Werner served as a Software Engineer at Investec and has completed multiple software engineering internships, including at VASTech and Skynamo. They hold a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning from Stellenbosch University and have experience as a Teaching Assistant in computer programming and probabilistic modeling. Werner has also demonstrated leadership as a member of the House Committee at Majuba Manskoshuis and is actively engaged in collaborative environments to deliver cutting-edge technological solutions.
