Alexis Evripidou is an experienced wildlife rehabilitation technician, currently serving as a Wildlife Rehabilitation Technician 2 at SPCA Monterey County since November 2019. Responsibilities include providing animal husbandry for a variety of avian and mammalian species, developing care plans for over 2000 wildlife patients annually, and performing medical assessments such as fecal analysis and blood sampling. Previous roles include Animal Care Technician at Monterey Bay Aquarium and Corps Member with California Conservation Corps Foundation, where Alexis acted as interim Crew Leader. Early career experience includes serving as Floor Manager at Phil's Fish Market and an internship at the SPCA for Monterey County. Alexis holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Circular Bioeconomy from Rome Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Sussex.

The SPCA for Monterey County is your nonprofit, independent, donor-supported humane society that has been serving the animals and people of Monterey County since 1905. The SPCA is not a chapter of any other agency and does not have a parent organization. They shelter homeless, neglected and abused pets and livestock, and provide humane education and countless other services to the community. They are the local agency you call to investigate animal cruelty, rescue and rehabilitate injured wildlife, and aid domestic animals in distress.
