Michelle Summers, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor currently practicing at Groundwork Counseling since 2021. With extensive experience at the SPCC Society for the Protection & Care of Children since 2016, Michelle has held multiple roles, including Mental Health Clinician in the Therapeutic Visitation Program, Family Trauma Intervention Program Therapist, and Supervised Visitation Specialist. Michelle also co-facilitated parenting support groups at Parenting Village and has a background in providing counseling and crisis management in various settings, including a group home for adolescents and community outreach. Michelle holds a Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from East Tennessee State University.
