Bart van Wissen

Bart van Wissen is the CTO at Speakap. Bart has over ten years of experience in web development, specializing in high-traffic web applications. Bart was previously the Technical Lead at Connect Social Business, where they were responsible for Symfony and Symfony2 development and performance optimization. Bart also led a small team of developers and maintained and improved the quality of the codebase.

Bart has extensive experience in setting up and managing web application server infrastructure, using Puppet to provision and manage server configuration, and setting up monitoring and alerts using Zabbix. Bart has also planned and executed the migration of large, heavily used web applications to new hosting environments. Bart has experience in developing Symfony plugins and tools, Facebook graph integration and app development, and developing on-line collaboration platforms for social media content editing.

Bart van Wissen received their MSc in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).

They are on a team with Ties Guensberg - Managing Director, Nordics, Jos van Schaik - CFO, and Guy Chiswick - Managing Director, UK&I. Bart van Wissen reports to Patrick van der Mijl, Founder.
