Tito Miguel Costa

Tito Miguel Costa has worked in the IT industry since 2002. Starting as a Web Developer and System Administrator at the Universidade dos Açores, they then moved on to Morfose as a Web Developer in 2007. In 2010, they became a Freelance Web Developer, specializing in open source technologies and with experience in network and system administration in a LAMP environment. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Symfony Webdeveloper at Adclick. Following this, they worked as a Symfony2 Developer at Virgin Media from 2013 to 2014. After this, they worked as a Senior Symfony Developer at Lendable from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they began working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Pixel Fusion. In 2019, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Mighty Ape Limited and as a Backend Tech Lead at Speakap, where they are currently responsible for designing, documenting and building new functionality for the main API.

Tito Miguel Costa obtained a Master's degree in Informatics and Multimedia from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduation in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Informatics from the Universidade dos Açores between 2002 and 2007. Tito Miguel has also obtained various certifications from institutions such as SymfonyCasts, HackerRank, DataCamp, and Zend Technologies, including Doctrine Queries, OAuth2, PHPUnit, Design Patterns, PHP Namespaces, Problem Solving (Basic), Intermediate Python for Data Science Course, and Zend PHP5.
