Karen Hillis

Karen Hillis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Karen started their career as a Conference Banqueting Sales Manager at Hilton Hotels & Resorts in 1998. Karen then worked as a UK Sales Manager at Ulster Weavers Apparel from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they joined BT Group where they served as a Business Support / Account Manager, managing retail accounts and providing end-to-end user fulfillment services until 2011. In 2012, they took on the role of Job Search Mentor at ARMSTRONG LEARNING (NORTHERN IRELAND) LIMITED before becoming a Service Manager at Action Mental Health in the same year. Currently, Karen is the Head of Engagement (NI) at Speakers for Schools since 2023.

Karen Hillis attended Ulster University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies.
