Carl Kaiser

Carl Kaiser is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware management and program coordination within the fields of acoustics and underwater technology. Currently the VP of Hardware at Spear AI, Carl previously served as Program Manager for Acoustics and Subsea at Saildrone Inc. and held engineering roles at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport. Carl's long tenure at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution involved overseeing the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, Sentry, as part of the National Deep Submergence Facility. Additional experience includes academic positions at Colorado State University, where responsibilities encompassed design and automation projects, as well as various internships in reliability and automation engineering. Carl holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, reflecting a strong educational foundation supporting a successful career in technology and engineering.
