Four (4) star Charity Navigator rated, Special Olympics New Jersey is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization that provides sports training and athletic competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization operates on an annual budget primarily funded through individual, corporate, civic and foundation dollars that make up more than 98% of the annual operating budget.

In addition to providing training and competition to over 25,000 athletes through traditional programming, school-based sports, Young Athletes and Unified Sports, Special Olympics New Jersey provides leadership programs and a comprehensive Healthy Athlete program that provides free screenings in six disciplines.  

Athletes develop skills, strength and build confidence through participation, so for them and their families, Special Olympics New Jersey has opened doors to unimagined possibilities.
