BJ Mealy has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. BJ has served as the Senior Director of Sport Operations at Special Olympics Florida since 2022 and was the Director of Sport Operations at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. Previously, they held various roles at Special Olympics Oregon, including Senior Director of Special Events, Senior Director of Sports and Operations, Senior Director of Sports, and Director of Sports. BJ also worked as the Director of Sport Operations at the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games. Before their involvement with Special Olympics, they were a Conference Services Coordinator at Rider University and a Program Director at the Hamilton Area YMCA.
