Brian Mize, MBA, MSA has a diverse work experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Brian is currently serving as the Director of Sports Business Development at Special Olympics Florida, where they lead the strategy to identify and secure new sports-based partnerships. Prior to this, Brian worked at The Walt Disney Company for over 16 years in various roles. As a Senior Sales Manager for Disney Meetings & Events, they managed accounts and leads, producing revenues of over $5.6 million annually. As a Senior Sales & Programming Manager for Key Accounts, Brian managed relationships with clients, generating over $5 million in operating income and securing future business. Brian also led a sales team for Disney Branded Events, generating over $3 million in revenue. Before their tenure at Disney, Brian gained experience as an intern at Pacer Sports & Entertainment and Indiana Sports Corp. Brian holds an MBA and MSA from reputable institutions.
Brian Mize, MBA, MSA obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sports Management & Business from Wilmington College (OH) from 1998 to 2002. Brian then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business at Ohio University from 2002 to 2003. Following that, Brian pursued another Master's degree, Master of Sports Administration (MSA) in Sports Business, also at Ohio University, from 2003 to 2004.

In Florida, 25,000 athletes train and compete year round, in 20 different team and individual sports of their choice. Founded in 1972, Special Olympics Florida is a certified 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization funded solely through the generosity of individuals, businesses and civic groups. This support allows Special Olympics to never charge the athlete or their families a fee for participation.
