Eimear McAuliffe has extensive experience in healthcare and community service, currently serving as the Chairman of Blackrock Flyers Special Olympics Club, overseeing programs for 70-80 athletes across various sports. With a longstanding involvement in several organizations, Eimear has been a member of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation since 1976, a Past President of the Rotary Club of Dun Laoghaire, and has actively participated in political campaigning with Fianna Fail since 1973. Eimear's nursing background includes roles as an Occupational Health Nurse at Amgen and as a Vaccination Nurse during the Covid-19 vaccine rollout. Education credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Protection & Welfare from Trinity College Dublin and multiple nursing qualifications. Eimear is also recognized for volunteering in significant events, including the Special Olympics World Games and the Women’s Rugby World Cup.
