Matt English

Matt English serves as the CEO of Special Olympics Ireland since November 2008, leading an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities to engage in high-quality sports and developmental activities. Prior to this role, Matt held positions as Managing Director at Christies Estates, CFO at Digicel Group, and CFO for the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games. Additional experience includes roles as SVP & European Finance Director at ModusLink, European Finance Director at UGS PLM Solutions, European Financial Controller at Comdisco, and Assistant Management Accountant at BP. Matt's education includes a degree in Strategic Perspectives in Non Profit Management from Harvard Business School, CIMA from London Business School, and ACMA from Waterford Institute of Technology, along with early education at Good Counsel College and Rathnure National School.
