Róisín H.

Róisín H. is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer at WP Engine since December 2020, specializing in system design and architecture, back-end and front-end development, CI/CD pipelines, and testing methodologies while mentoring junior engineers. Róisín also contributes to the Special Olympics Ireland as a volunteer coach and chaperone for various teams, including Team Ireland at the World Games in Abu Dhabi 2019. Previous roles include positions at Anuland, Radisens Diagnostics Ltd., Emdalo Technologies, Black Box, and Cathx Ocean, with expertise in embedded development, GUI design, and software testing across multiple platforms and programming languages. Róisín holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and a Professional Diploma in UX Design, with foundational education in engineering from the University of Limerick.
