Alex Jones is currently serving as the Development Director- Central Area at Special Olympics Missouri. Their previous roles include Senior Event Manager at Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, Wedding and Events Manager at Leoness Cellars, and Conference Services Manager at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa. Alex has a Bachelor's degree in Meeting and Event Planning from Southern Connecticut State University.

Our Mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with mental disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
