Education and Community Outreach Team

The Education and Community Outreach Team at Special Olympics Missouri spearheads initiatives to integrate sports into the lives of individuals with mental disabilities through continuous programs and competitions. They work closely with schools, communities, and families to cultivate inclusive environments, enhance athletic opportunities, and promote awareness and engagement in Special Olympics activities. The team also collaborates with educators, public relations professionals, and athlete representatives to foster leadership, build partnerships, and ensure impactful communication and outreach efforts.
