Jean Hansen is the Founder and CEO of Pathways In Life since January 2023. Prior to this role, Jean has been with Special Olympics Oregon since 2007, holding positions such as VP-School Partnerships and Outreach, as well as Youth Games Director. Jean graduated from Southern Oregon University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education.

Special Olympics Oregon serves the largest disability population in the state and this year they will celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Special Olympics Oregon provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
