Dempsey Murphy

Dempsey Murphy is a seasoned education professional and Learning Architect at Trulieve since June 2024. Dempsey also serves as a Unified Track and Field Coach for Special Olympics Pennsylvania, focusing on promoting social inclusion through sports. Previous experience includes working as a Learning, Development & Performance Consultant at PeoplesBank, where collaboration with stakeholders and leadership on learning needs was essential. Dempsey has mentored new teachers and led professional development initiatives within Southern York County School District, enhancing instructional practices and student achievement. Dempsey's teaching experience includes redesigning curriculum and utilizing technology to improve student performance as an 8th Grade Life Science Teacher. Dempsey holds a Master's degree in Chemical and Life Science from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Biology from York College of Pennsylvania.
