Jolene Alves

Volunteer at Special Olympics RI

Jolene Alves is an experienced criminal justice professional with over two decades of service in law enforcement, including a long tenure as Captain at the Cumberland RI Police Department, where responsibilities included planning, training, and accreditation management. Currently serving as an Investigator at Hasbro, Jolene also contributes as a coach for the Rhody Rangers in various sports and as a member of the Rhode Island Law Enforcement Torch Run Committee for the Special Olympics Rhode Island. In addition, Jolene has shared expertise as an Instructor at the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy, focusing on report writing. Educational achievements include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Roger Williams University and an Associate's degree in Law Enforcement from the Community College of Rhode Island.
