Reese Swanson

Reese Swanson currently serves as the Manager of Sports and Competition for Special Olympics Southern California since July 2023. In addition to this role, Swanson has been the Head JV Basketball Coach at Morro Bay High School since August 2022 and serves as the Lead Umpire for Coast Little League since March 2022. Previously, Swanson worked as the Sports Coordinator for the City of Morro Bay from June 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included coordinating youth sports programs and ensuring a safe environment for participants. Additional coaching experience includes leading a sixth-grade soccer team at Los Osos Middle School from February 2022 to April 2023, and serving as a Recruitment Ambassador for Camp Natoma from September 2021 to January 2022. Reese Swanson's earlier roles include working as a Merchandise Specialist at The Home Depot and as a Crew Member at Jersey Mike's Subs. Swanson holds a degree in Recreation Parks Tourism Administration with a focus on Sports Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 2022.
