Julie Cheatwood

Julie Cheatwood is currently a volunteer at The Door In The Wall, Inc. where Julie helps with fundraising and gathers Christmas gifts for disabled children and adults. Julie is also the Executive Director at San Antonio Disabled Athletes Association Inc., which was founded in 2007. Additionally, Julie volunteers as a journalist/writer at Welcome Home Community Newspaper, reporting on event happenings and athlete accomplishments for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Julie also volunteers at Gordon Hartman Family Foundation and Special Olympics Texas as a skating coach. Previously, Julie was the Director of Adult Matters at DSASA and the owner/director/teacher at Rainbow Room Home School Inc. Julie also volunteered as a fundraiser at Special Olympics Va., raising over $50,000 for athlete expenses.
