Armando Gomez has over two decades of experience in the field of sports development, primarily with Special Olympics, where employment began in October 2002. During this tenure, Armando has advanced through several key positions, including Latin American Sport Development Director, Senior Manager, Manager, Coordinator, and Consultant. Prior to this role, Armando served as Director Nacional de Deportes for Olimpiadas Especiales Venezuela from September 1995 to December 1999, further demonstrating a strong commitment to sports and athlete development in Latin America.
