Christen James

Christen James is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including nonprofit, arts, and corporate environments. Currently serving as the Director of Global Strategic Partnerships at Special Olympics since February 2021, Christen drives revenue and supports the organization's mission to end discrimination against individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a Tony Award®-winning Broadway Producer, Christen is involved in highly anticipated productions such as OTHELLO featuring Denzel Washington. Previous roles include Head of Advancement and Marketing at Sistas In Sales, where the organization empowers women of color in sales careers, as well as Chief Operating Officer at the Council of Urban Professionals, where Christen secured partnerships with major companies. Christen's diverse background also includes significant contributions to Delta Air Lines and various productions focused on artists of color. Christen holds a BA and MA in Theology along with a Certificate in Business Marketing from Seton Hall University.
