Kim Widdess

Kim Widdess possesses extensive experience in event marketing and management within the nonprofit and governmental sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Event Marketing at Special Olympics since October 2015, Kim has also held the position of Senior Vice President of Sport & Competition and Vice President of Games Services and Events at Special Olympics. Prior to these roles, Kim contributed to the success of the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles as Senior Vice President of Guests and Events from April 2013 to October 2015. Earlier in the career, Kim served as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Social Secretary at The White House from December 1994 to January 2001.
