Melissa Smith-Moore

Melissa Smith-Moore has extensive work experience in the legal and healthcare industry. Melissa is currently the Vice President of Legal Operations at Specialized Dental Partners since May 2022. Prior to this, Melissa worked as an Independent Consultant in a paraprofessional role from January 2009. Melissa also held the position of Vice President of Legal Operations at Promises Behavioral Health from September 2019 to May 2022.

Melissa's previous roles include serving as Assistant Vice President of Managed Care, Credentialing and Licensure/Certification, and as Assistant Vice President of Provider Enrollment and Legal Operations at American Addiction Centers from August 2017 to August 2019. Melissa also worked as the Senior Director of Legal Operations/Administration from October 2014 to August 2017, and as a Paralegal from December 2013 to October 2014 at the same company. Additionally, Melissa was a Senior Corporate Paralegal at Simplex Healthcare from March 2011 to January 2014.

Melissa's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Manager of Licensure/Certification and Facility Contracts at National Renal Alliance from November 2004 to December 2008, and as a Corporate and Healthcare Paralegal at Bass, Berry & Sims from March 2000 to October 2004.

Melissa Smith-Moore obtained a BA in History from Trevecca Nazarene University in the years 1995-1998. Additionally, they received an ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate from Southeastern Paralegal Institute in 1999.
