Raul Vargas

Raul Vargas is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in operational excellence, supply chain management, and strategic planning within large organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Specialized Packaging Group since May 2024, Raul previously held significant leadership roles at Whirlpool Corporation from July 2013 to May 2024, including Operational Excellence Director for the Mexico Region, where responsibilities encompassed new product introduction, equipment technologies, and process development. Raul also served as Regional Materials Operations leader, overseeing materials management across multiple sites in Mexico and the United States, and as Senior Materials Manager and Senior Operations Manager, focusing on supply chain efficiency, profitability, and safety. Earlier in his career, Raul was Operations Director at Celestica, managing an $800 million annual revenue operation, and drove significant improvements in P&L performance. Raul Vargas holds a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
