Dr. Mishal al Qasimi

Dr. Mishal Al Qasimi has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Dr. Mishal began their career as a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2003. Dr. Mishal later served as an Attending Physician in Pediatrics Emergency Medicine and Director of Newborn Medicine/Hospitalist at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. Dr. Al Qasimi also worked as a Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine specialist at Alkasimi Pediatrics P.C. and served as Chief Medical Education at Family Health Centers at NYU Langone.

In 2011, Dr. Al Qasimi joined Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs as the Medical Director. Dr. Mishal was responsible for providing educational, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to individuals with special needs.

From 2013 to 2015, they held the position of Chief of Pediatrics and Consultant Physician at SEHA—Ambulatory Healthcare Services Co., where they contributed to pediatric healthcare delivery.

Dr. Al Qasimi's leadership skills were further demonstrated when they became the Chief Executive Officer of Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) in 2016. Dr. Mishal successfully led the hospital, gaining expertise in managing healthcare organizations.

In 2018, they took on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Health Shield Medical Center. Their responsibilities included transforming the center into a multi-specialty same day surgery facility that achieved JCI accreditation and earned a world-class reputation.

Most recently, Dr. Al Qasimi has been serving as a Strategic Advisor at RRNJ Consulting since 2022. In this role, they support stakeholders interested in healthcare projects and provides guidance on operational efficiencies and strategic planning to maximize shareholder value.

Dr. Mishal Al Qasimi obtained a certificate in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine from Downstate Health Sciences University in 2006. In 2010, they received a Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Cincinnati and also obtained certification from the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. In 2015, Dr. Al Qasimi became a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association for Physician Leadership and the Certifying Commission in Medical Management. Dr. Mishal is also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
