Clark Rahman

Clark Rahman has extensive experience in the cybersecurity field. Clark currently serves as a Senior Security Assessor at Specialized Security Services, Inc., where they provide assessments and recommends improvements for various project initiatives. Clark'srole involves performing risk assessments, advising on security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Prior to their current role, Clark had a distinguished career in the US Army, where they held positions as a Cyber Warfare Technician and Cyber Operations Specialist. In these roles, they were responsible for protecting data, networks, and systems against cyber threats, including both foreign and domestic attacks.

Clark also worked at Agio as a vCISO and Cybersecurity Consultant. In this role, they provided consulting services and conducted security assessments for clients in various industries. Clark served as a virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) and advised C-level executives on security governance, compliance, and privacy requirements.

Additionally, Clark worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Federal IT Consulting (FEDITC) supporting the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Cybersecurity program. Clark provided subject matter expertise and ensured defense-in-depth for IT assets.

Clark's previous experience also includes roles at CenturyLink and Level 3 Communications where they worked in account management and sales. Clark was responsible for selling security services, data infrastructure, and cloud-based architecture to customers.

Before entering the cybersecurity field, Clark held leadership positions at Florida State University and Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity, where they governed meetings and oversaw chapter operations.

Clark Rahman pursued a Master of Science - MS degree in Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management & Penetration Testing from Norwich University from the year 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management & Leadership Studies from Florida State University between 2012 and 2016. Additionally, Clark has earned several certifications throughout their education journey, including a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) from the PCI Security Standards Council in May 2022, a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance in January 2022, a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in March 2023, a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA in March 2020, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in January 2022, a Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP) from HITRUST in August 2021, a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in March 2021, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in January 2021, and Network+ and Security+ certifications from CompTIA in August and July 2013, respectively.
