Derek Knetter

Derek Knetter, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Controller at Specialized Bicycle Components, having joined the company in September 2025. Prior experience includes working as an Audit Manager at Bol Adviseurs from October 2021 to August 2025, where responsibilities encompassed US GAAP translation services and overseeing financial statement audits. Prior to that, Derek held the position of Senior Accountant at Wipfli LLP from September 2018 to September 2021, leading various audit engagements and enhancing operational efficiencies. Initial roles in accounting began with positions at Redpath and Company, Ltd. and Wipfli LLP, where foundational skills in audit and compliance were developed. Derek earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2017.
