Emily Chak

Emily Chak is a mechanical engineer with diverse experience in testing, research, design, and project management. Currently serving as a Test Engineer at Specialized Bicycle Components since October 2022, Emily previously worked as a Research Assistant at Luna Labs and completed an internship as a Design Engineer at Quality Bicycle Products. Emily's background includes hands-on roles like a Mechanical Engineering Co-op Intern at AECOM, where HVAC and plumbing design were key responsibilities. Throughout an academic tenure at the University of Minnesota, Emily held several leadership positions, including Officer and Coach for the University of Minnesota Climb Team and Mechanical Team Lead for the Innovative Engineers - Solar Test Bed Team, demonstrating strong organizational and community-building skills. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, further enhancing expertise in the field.
