Eric Lau is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the cycling industry. Currently serving as a Senior Design Engineer at Specialized Bicycle Components since June 2014, Eric has taken on multiple leadership roles, including overseeing the Retül business unit, which focuses on personalized riding experiences through advanced 3D motion capture technology. Prior to this, Eric worked as a Design Engineer at Saris Cycling Group, contributing to the development of various cycling products, including power meters and indoor trainers. Eric holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Design from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
