Steve George

Steve George is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business services and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Business Services at Specialty Building Products since January 2023, Steve is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that enhance digital solutions for growth. Having held various leadership roles at DW Distribution since July 1999, including VP of Technology, VP of IT/Purchasing, VP of Customer Service, and VP IT/HR, Steve has been instrumental in launching strategic IT projects and overseeing core business systems that align with organizational objectives. Prior to this, Steve served as a Gas Marketing/Operational Liaison at Koch Industries and as a Gas Controller at Lone Star Pipeline/TU Electric. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from LeTourneau University.
