Gerald Asplund

Gerald Asplund is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product design, process improvement, and materials engineering. Currently serving as a Product Engineer at Specialty Cable Corp. since March 2014, Gerald designs and develops insulated electronic wire and cable products for various high-performance applications. Previous roles include Continuous Improvement & Maintenance Manager and Process Engineer at Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals, where oversight of maintenance activities and product trials was key. Additional experience includes engineering support at Pratt & Whitney and extensive technical supervision in manufacturing processes at J.M. NEY COMPANY. With multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from the University of Connecticut, Gerald brings a strong technical foundation to all projects undertaken.
