Cindy Ludviksen has a diverse and extensive work history in the coffee industry. Starting in 1996, they served as the Coffee Department Manager at Foster's Market before becoming the Director of Development at Counter Culture Coffee in 1998. Cindy held this position until 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Cindy was the Executive Director of the World Barista Championship. Cindy then moved on to become the Managing Director of World Coffee Events from 2011 to 2019. During their time at World Coffee Events, they also took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at the Specialty Coffee Association in 2018. In 2019, they became the Chief Commercial & Community Experience Officer at the Specialty Coffee Association, and in 2022, they transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Cindy Ludviksen attended Harvard Business School from 2022 to 2023, where they enrolled in the Program for Leadership Development (PLD35). As part of this program, they obtained a Certificate for Program for Leadership Development 35 from Harvard Business School Executive Education in January 2023. In addition, Cindy obtained a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
