From 2001, Marc-Pierre Dietrich worked as a Freelance Consultant at MDM Strategic, where they had a diverse background in the FMCG industry and gained extensive commercial experience in senior positions. Marc-Pierre was particularly passionate about coffee during this time.

In 2009, they became the Managing Director at BASE//coffee uk Ltd until 2015, leading the company in its operations.
