René Strik EMFC

René Strik EMFC has extensive work experience in financial management and corporate finance. René currently serves as the CFO of Specialty Coffee Association since April 2019. Prior to that, they founded SIA Management in March 2017, where they provided part-time and interim CFO support for enterprises in strategy development, financial management, and obtaining financial funds and resources.

In addition, René Strik EMFC served as a partner at Cygnus Finance Support from June 2018 to December 2019, specializing in Agri & Trade Commodity Finance. René also worked as the Treasurer for Rode Kruis Nederland from May 2018 to September 2019.

Earlier in their career, René Strik EMFC held the position of CFO at InterContinental Coffee Trading from April 2011 to March 2017 and at Daarnhouwer& Co. BV from April 2003 to March 2017. René began their career as a CFO at Solvay from 1998 to 2003.

Throughout their career, René Strik EMFC has gained expertise in financial management, strategy development, and corporate finance, particularly in the agri and trade commodity finance sectors.

René Strik EMFC obtained a drs degree in Business economics / Economie en management from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they studied from 1982 to 1988. Later, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued a degree in Financieel management (Financial management) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), earning an RC and EMFC.
