Doug Cechovic

Doug Cechovic has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Doug is currently working as a Senior Director of Business Development in Roofing at Specialty Granules LLC since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Quality Assurance at Specialty Granules Inc for over two decades, from March 1998 to October 2021. In this role, they managed the daily operations of the Corporate Quality Assurance Program and four domestic manufacturing facilities. Doug was also responsible for administering the Natural and Accelerated Weathering Programs. Before joining Specialty Granules Inc, Doug worked at Reed Minerals, a Harsco Company, as a Quality Supervisor from September 1992 to March 1998. Doug focused on production systems, product analysis, and developing the internal weathering program. Doug also worked at RCM Laboratories, Inc. as an Environmental Specialist from December 1991 to September 1992. In this role, they conducted asbestos identification and quantification, managed asbestos abatement projects, and performed environmental laboratory testing.

Doug Cechovic obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington. Doug attended the university from 1985 to 1989.
