Job description

Specialty1 Partners is seeking a full time, experienced and detail-oriented Consolidation Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation accounting functions of our organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role will involve managing a team of accountants, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the consolidation process, including collecting, reviewing, and reconciling financial data from various sources, including subsidiaries, divisions, and business units.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Oversee the reconciliation and elimination of intercompany transactions to avoid duplication and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas that may require additional attention and provide insights and recommendations to management based on these analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies, staying current with changes in accounting standards and making necessary adjustments to the consolidation process.
  • Guide other accountant levels by reviewing completed adjusting entries and trend reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring all documentation and information are readily available for audit purposes.
  • Utilize financial consolidation software and tools to streamline the consolidation process, improve efficiency, and maintain data integrity.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders, including executives, finance teams, and subsidiaries, to address inquiries, explain financial results, and provide guidance on accounting treatment.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the consolidation process, identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 6 years minimum of experience working in finance, accounting, or a relevant field at a large, multi-location company.
  • Proven leadership abilities and the ability to motivate and develop a team. (Minimum 2 years of experience)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Concur).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in NetSuite, Bill.com, Concur platforms.
  • Experience in multi-site environments.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant status highly desired.

Salary: $100,000 to $110,000 / annum

Position Pay Range
$100,000$110,000 USD

Specialty1 Partners is the direct employer of non-clinical employees only. For clinical employees, the applicable practice entity listed above in the job posting is the employer. Specialty1 Partners generates job postings and offer letters to assist with human resources and payroll support provided to the applicable practice. Clinical employees include dental assistants and staff assisting with actual direct treatment of patients. Non-clinical employees include the office manager, front desk staff, marketing staff, and any other staff providing administrative duties.
