Alan Ng is an accomplished industrial designer with extensive experience in leading design teams and managing product development projects. Currently serving as the Lead Industrial Designer at Speck Products since April 2014, Alan oversees new product divisions and pilots innovation projects, contributing to the development of products like the GemtonesTM Wireless Earbuds and the Lifestyle Backpack collection. Previously, Alan held positions at iOttie Inc. and Nooka Inc., where significant projects included the Easy One Touch 2 Car Mount and the Pothera for MoMa NYC. Alan also operated as the owner of Alan Karson from August 2012 to July 2022, focusing on personal projects in lifestyle product design. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University.
