Debbie Tarry

Debbie Tarry serves as the Director of Foundation Technology at Specsavers since January 2024. Prior to this role, Tarry was the Group Director of Infrastructure & Operations at International Airlines Group (IAG) from June 2022 to January 2024, where Tarry also held the position of Interim Director. Tarry's previous experience includes IT Director UK&I and Head of IT Operations at Costa Coffee between March 2019 and May 2022, and various roles at Volkswagen Group UK Ltd from 2014 to 2019, including Head of IT Operations and Business Relationship Manager. Tarry initially worked at Volkswagen from 2006 to 2014 as a Business Change Manager, significantly contributing to a £40m IT change program. Other past positions include Lead Design Analyst at Barclaycard International, Change Manager at Abbey, Equity Trade Floor Support Manager at ING, Support Manager at Standard & Poor's Comstock, and Consultant at Shell Trading. Tarry's education was completed at Pembrokeshire College from 1987 to 1989.
