Kirby Symes has extensive experience in the optometry and healthcare sectors, currently serving as the Professional Development Coordinator for Optometry at Specsavers Australia & New Zealand since March 2021. Prior to this role, Kirby worked at Althea Group Holdings as an Executive Assistant and Administrative Assistant from March 2019 to March 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as an Orthoptist at Caulfield Eye Clinic from July 2014 to March 2019 and working as a locum Orthoptist while self-employed from January 2014 to July 2014. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Orthoptics from La Trobe University, completed between 2010 and 2013, as well as secondary education at Kardinia International College from 2003 to 2006.
