Drew Hosford

Drew Hosford is the CTO at Spect Inc., overseeing AI for collecting and evaluating retinal images with FDA/SOC2/HIPAA compliance. Drew previously served as Head of Quality/Engineering at Scanwell Health, where Drew led AI projects for COVID-19 and malaria tests with smartphone technology and managed regulatory compliance. With extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles at companies like Gauss Surgical and Belcan Engineering, Drew holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (with Honors) from Brigham Young University.
